Hard to get excited about this but he could do OK. He seems to be made from the same mold a Marquis, good arm and a thick head.

its hard to excited about kyle lohse, but he is healthy and can eat innings. that fills a big need for this team. it comes at a good price too. i hope he pitches well for 2-3 months and then gets dumped for a decent prospect. last year he got swapped for matt maloney who rates as a grade B prospect by john sickels and is the reds top 10 prospects. the cards might end up with a much needed rotation band-aid and a decent prospect.
