I would hit the waiver wire for your closers.

Drop your bench Ps, they are barely fantasy material, and you do better to get some waiver wire sleepers with them.

Good Luck.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Here are the waiver requests/ trades i am attempting to make.

M. Ensberg for M. Teixeira - waviers
K. Rogers for R. Harden - waivers
C. Pavano for G. Maddux - waivers

Chipper Jones For Derek Lowe - Trade
J Gibbons For Mariano Rivera - Trade

As far as the trades go i will cancel the other trade depending on which one goes through first if either does. I am not trading away both of those outfielders.

What do you think of these moves?

Wow - pull that chipper for Lowe trade pretty quick. Lowe isnt the "closer" your looking for, and hopefully isnt the SP you need either.

Gibbons wont come close to fetching Rivera, so you can save the other owner the hassel of rejecting it by pulling it back yourself.

Maybe Chipper for Rivera might be closer.

Its a tough call between who you need more - Maddux or Tex. Ensberg is your starting 3B right now, not Speizio. Ensberg is serviceable, and most likely a top 10 3B. Thats why I would try and get Maddux as my first waiver priority.
