Yeah even in a 20 team league I didn't target Wakefield. There is just no upside.

well i am in a pretty deep league, but he was serviceable last year at times and was a source of Ws (17).

This shouldn't affect Wakefield's value that much. The Sox have some other crappy catcher who can't hit but can (supposedly) catch the knuckleball that they're going to use for Wake.

So if Wakefield was a viable option in your league before, he still is.
