Rating my 08 team

I am in a head-to-head league with 8 players in it. The scoring type is R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, DPT, W, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, and NH. 25 players per team. I am looking for weaknesses and what I should work on to strengthen my team. I appreciate any input, thanks.

Bump, I sent a trade offer of Rafael Furcal and Howie Kendrick for Troy Tulowitzki hoping to strengthen my SS and just move Plácido Polanco up from the bench to replace Kendrick. (WHIR)

Could someone please take a look at my team and point out some strong and weak areas, what I should focus on to fix, or watch out for? This is the first time I am playing for a fair amount of money and I would like to win.

For being in an 8 team league - I don't see the superstars on your roster. With the depth at 3rd and SS - you didn't get any real studs. Holliday is great and Upton is very good but I didn't see any stand outs.

Pitching should also be better - I just didn't see any real strength.

Closers? Putz is great but Mariano?

Again with 8 teams - I didn't see the really great players on your squad. I assume they are on other teams which is bad for you.

Try to get some *great* players no matter what the cost - pick up what you need off a very full waiver wire.

Thank you for your response. I thought that I had my share of the "super-star" players with Holliday, Peavy, and Upton. I don't see whats wrong with Mariano. I did think pitching was my weakest spot especially with Lackey injured for the next month or so.

Right now I am trying to bring in a better pitcher but when you say no matter what the cost who do you suggest?
