A-Rod limited insert signed college card!! value???

Postby techsmarty » Thu Feb 19, 2004 3:20 pm

i'm trying to find out how much this card is worth, i've had it for a couple years locked up in the safe....

http://www.techsmarty.com/arod.jpg and http://www.techsmarty.com/arod2.jpg

As you can see from the pictures the card is in Excellent shape!
Since i'm going off to college soon i'm going to be needing all the money i can get, so i'm thinking of selling this card on ebay.

The card is a 1994 Classic limited edition autographed card(547 of 2100) of alex rodriguez. This was when he was playing for the appleton foxes minor leage team.

Note- there are no scratches on the card (the minor scratches are on the heavy duty card protector (incase you were wondering)

Nice card! ;-D (I recall buying a bunch of those packs and being rewarded with a Frankie Rodriguez...)

Anyway, not sure what current book value is, but I believe it was listed in the $150 range a couple years back. Now might not be a bad time to sell it, with all the interest in A-Rod these days.

Nice card Marty. Currently there are two of those cards on ebay but a little different from yours. They are graded 9's where yours is not graded at all. Having it graded adds to the value. Anyways here are the auctions. Wait for those to end and you will be able to gague what it is worth.
