Buy some diapers. Melt candy bars in the diapers and leave them open, laying around the house. You can get some candy bars that look real nasty.


My wife has actually done this for a baby shower and they had to guess what candy bar was melted in the diaper. Although, only knock on the suggestion is that you won't get the smell you're looking for. And it might be obvious what they're doing if there isn't a kids bedroom.... I tried to help, sorry.

Here's the update - she did.... (drumroll).... NOTHING!

She wussed out. She was afraid they would come back and "get" her for it in some way, so she just didn't do anything. I kept telling her that the cans of Raid would be a no-fault thing, because it's such a non-specific thing, but she was afraid.

They moved into their new apartment Saturday and they're out of the one with the bad landlord/realtor, so it's all over. But thanks for the suggestions all the same.
