Thats what I'm predicting. Salty is going to start soooooo hot. 10 HR in April. Then fall in fantasy flames right after I trade him.

I was under the impression that the starting job was Laird's to lose, and it was a good possibility Salty starts the season in Oklahoma City. Obviously a lot can change between now and the start of the season, but from what I read it's probably a good idea for the Rangers to give Salty some more time in the minors.

Gonna be hard to hit 10 HR as a half time at best C who could start the year in the minors.

As other have said, Laird is completely out-playing Salty right now. Only chance he has is to catch fire or hope that TEX trades Laird for some prospects to clear a path for him.
