Lookin a little rough.
C and 1B can be upgraded.
You are lacking steals.
Your P isnt too bad, you just need a couple closers and another strong SP. Unfortunately, I dont see a lot of trade bait on your squad, so look to hit the waiver wire.

What waiver priority do you have? I might suggest holding onto a high priority for Maddux to become eligible.

Pretty good team. I would look for pitching help though. See if Harden or Eric Milton are available. Also Rhodes and Kolb as closers. If Jeremy Affeldt in KC wins the closer job, pick him up. Tomko and Kaz will single handedly kill your whip. I would also try to upgrade at catcher. I'm not real big on Ramon Hernandez. Tell me what you think of my team.

I am waiver #5. Do you think I could catch him that late? Right now, I am picking up Tim Redding for a solid SP. Any suggestions?

Trade one of your stud hitters to get a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1, to fill the spaces.

Do not use your waiver priority on Tim Redding. If he is still available after the initial waiver period, fine, but certainly dont waste your waiver rank for him. Maddux will be available soon, and by then you should have easily gone into the top 3 in waiver priority and will have a great chance of getting him. Be Patient!

This is my first team with fantasy baseball. I did not realize the waiver aspect. Thanks for the help.
What do you think would be the best trade op to improve my team?

The team needs upgrades all around. You are going to have to stay very active to get it in the top half of the league.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

There is someone with both Jeter and Tejada. Would anyone recommend taking them up. That would give me a little more to work with to trade for other positions. Any suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions on a possible trade with my team listed above for Jeter or Tejada?
