Is it because he doesn't look like a superstar? Because his numbers speak for themselves, even though he had a so called off year.

i dont think he is underrated. he is just at a position full of superstars and had an "off year last year" i've got him as the # 12 OF, counting soriano if he moves

define elite. i cant say id take him over guys like V. Wells, P. Wilson or Manny, so i think # 12 is pretty fair.

Better for us all. Him, Green, and Abreu you could get cheap and have a superstar OF worth on average about $35. You sprinkle in names like Bradley and Winn for depth and the utility spots and you'll dominate. Great, great, values.

Why don't you thing that he is being rated at fiar value? Each year his numbers slip. he is settling into a 290 30-35 HR 100 RBI guy which are good but not great numbers. In our $260.00 auction league he won't go for more than $16.00-$18.00. If I were in a draft league i would not pick him before the 4th or 5th round, if that.

That's because he isn't settling into anything of the sort. He was a $37 value in '01 and $36 in '02 and had a lost year last season due to a lingering injury. If you can get him at $18 you'll be getting close to double that in talent. That's a steal in my book.

290 30-35 HR 100 RBI are not great #'s?? I think it is especially with his great K to BB ratio, not many guys can do what he does when everything is factored in.
