Why is Berkman so underrated????

i dont think he is underrated. he is just at a position full of superstars and had an "off year last year" i've got him as the # 12 OF, counting soriano if he moves

Better for us all. Him, Green, and Abreu you could get cheap and have a superstar OF worth on average about $35. You sprinkle in names like Bradley and Winn for depth and the utility spots and you'll dominate. Great, great, values.

Berkman had a crazy year last year so everyone has lost interest in him. I'd say it would be a good time to "buy low"

In our $260.00 auction league he won't go for more than $16.00-$18.00. If I were in a draft league i would not pick him before the 4th or 5th round, if that.

That's because he isn't settling into anything of the sort. He was a $37 value in '01 and $36 in '02 and had a lost year last season due to a lingering injury. If you can get him at $18 you'll be getting close to double that in talent. That's a steal in my book.

290 30-35 HR 100 RBI are not great #'s?? I think it is especially with his great K to BB ratio, not many guys can do what he does when everything is factored in.
