Agreed, 2b is a lot more scarce than OF Soriano should be one of three main rbi men on Texas too.

Most likely Soriano will lead off here in Texas. Projected lineup that the Rangers are talking about:
1--2B--Soriano
2--SS--Young
3--3B--Blalock
4--1B--Teixeira
5--DH--Fullmer
6--RF--Brian Jordan
7--LF--Mench
8--CF--Nivar or Nix (whoever wins the job in spring training)
9--C--Einar Diaz
Or:
1--CF--Soriano
2--2B--Young
3--3B--Blalock
4--1B--Teixeira
5--DH--Fullmer
6--RF--Brian Jordan
7--LF--Mench
8--C--Einar Diaz
9--SS--Eric Young
Anyone who saw Vlad hit the 502 foot home run that dented the stadium after returning from injury, knows that he is healthy. Oh yeah, the second half splits are not bad either.
I'd take Vlad.

Vlad 330 37 hr 110 rbi 15 sb
Soriano 290 35 hr 95 rbi 35 sbi
The question is: which stats will be more crucial to your team. What a softball question. it is like saying who should I pick Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays. Either way you get one of the top players.

With all due respect to your beloved Rangers, Madison, that's a pretty stupid lineup. Soriano should be three followed by Teixeira and Fullmer and they should go with the top two from last season. I'll bet you a dollar this lineup won't make it through April and maybe not even throught spring training.

With that lineup I still think that Soriano will only be behind tex and blalock. The rest of the lineup is pretty hurt-ing.
