Mar 10 Mark Feinsand, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Yankees SP Phil Hughes threw four no-hit innings in the team's 6-4 win over the Minnesota Twins Sunday, March 9. In six innings this spring, Hughes has yet to allow one hit.

I'm liking the way his spring is turning out so far... ;-D

Hughes, though he may not be getting as much respect as he deserves, may be a steal this upcoming season. Now that he is the #3 starter in the Bombers rotation, he will probably be allowed to pitch as deep into games as possible, as long as he is healthy [which he is at the moment]. If anyone is in trouble SP wise, trading for Hughes now may be the best bargain you can get him for all year. ;-D

Theres no question Hughes has an insane upside. I think your right that he's not getting as much attention as you'd think. The only real question is if he can log a bunch of innings this year and stay healthy

Not to mention that he looked great when he settled in during September last year. The Yankees will win games. He's a very legit option in your rotation. He's currently my 5th starter and I'm excited about it.

The Sox and Yanks will duke it out again this year...Clay vs. Phil, should be fun to watch...

I got him in round 13, and from the chatter in my league after the pick, he wouldn't have lasted past 14.

In a 13 team snake, I took Hughes with the first pick in the 11th round (#131). Maybe a bit of a reach but wasn't going to chance him making it all the way back around.
