It's early and this will change many times, but here is the early buzz on the starting position players this spring.

Catcher - Jason Kendall
1st Base - Randall Simon
2nd Base - Pokey Reese
Shortstop - Jack Wilson
3rd Base - Aramis Ramirez
Left Field - Reggie Sanders
Center Field - Craig Wilson
Right Field - Brian Giles

Kevin Young will be battling to get his starting job back from Randall Simon this spring, while Rob Mackowiak will be a utility guy all around the field trying to fit in at either corner of the Outfield, 3rd Base and Shortstop. Humberto Cota is trying to take playing time away from Jason Kendall, and Matt Stairs is looking to get time playing in the Outfield between him and Reggie Sanders

Im sorry but where in the heck do you get Craig Wilson in CF...lol There is no way that the Pirates would ever let that happen...if hes lucky he will platoon in RF with Stairs this year. The OF will look like this

LF: Reggie Sanders
CF: Brian Giles
RF: Craig Wilson/Matt Stairs

And that will all change if Kenny Lofton signs...then you can just kick out Wilson and Stairs...do some homework before you post stuff like that. lol
