I'd be interested in hearing from someone who might follow the Reds closely... Is there a chance (good, bad, none?) that Homer Bailey breaks camp in the rotation. I know he disappointed during his debut, but injury certainly played a role in that. It appears that Arroyo and Harrang are the only "locks" so far. Any info would be appreciated.
I'd also be interested in hearing any additionaly information people have on Bailey.........seems like he's really fallen off the map this year, despite being a huge favorite amongst Cafe'rs prior to his call up.
After Harang and Arroyo, I think Fogg will be a definate starter. He threw well last time out. Also Cueto has been real good. I see him as getting a rotation spot. As far as the last spot, Belisle, Bailey, and Volquez have done little to deserve being in the rotation. I don't think decisions will be made until the end of spring training. I know Bailey has great stuff, but he seems to me like he will be a late bloomer. I don't like him for this year. With all his stuff, he's just not having any good outings. I think he needs more seasoning in AAA.

Actually from all accounts Dusty and the Reds have been quite impressed by Volquez and to me he looks like the fav for the last spot in the rotation. He has given up maybe a few more hits then you would like but his control has been great and he is striking out everyone (8IP 13K). But back to Homer, he just needs more experience in the minors as he was rushed a bit to much last year and the lingering injuries didnt help him. He has always been a bit raw and just needs some more time honing his pitching/control in AAA. Nothing to really get down on at this point, he still is a great prospect and one set back doesnt dim him much as a top arm in the minors.
