Possible Collusion. What would you do??

I started a yahoo public baseball league. Everything looked legit as far as the managers not having the same email, etc. Then it happened. You had the typical Who wants my first round pick (in this case A-Rod)? Make me some offers post came up on the message board. I dont really care for A-rob, but I decided to offer Chipper Jones and Ben Sheets. The offer was rejected. Oh well, I thought to myself. The guy probably is just trying to see if the world would be offered to him. I woke up this morning to find a trade that has been excepted. Get this: Here was the excepted offer... Mike Lowell and Fransico Liriano for A-Rod AND Ian Snell!!!

I posted a message saying the the two teams will be frozen if there is any further proof of collusion, and emailed the league to take a look at the recent trade and vote. What else can I do? Should I freeze the players anyway? It is a collusionistic trade don't you think? Thanks for the help.

It doesn't matter if it's collusion or just some yahoo: allowing the trade to go through could ruin the league. Freeze the trade, kick out the guy who had A-Rod, and find a replacement owner.

You are the commish, then...given your power to freeze? Hell yeah, lock them. This is clearly collusion. Reset the rosters, and go from there. If it is Yahoo, you cannot replace the owners. You will have to live with them in your league. But watch them closely (I betcha Mr. A-Rod controls both teams), no big deal. Lock them from any transactions except (correct spelling, prof ) lineup changes, and call them (him) out on it. Watch and enjoy his posts defending his actions...could be fun for you. This is part of what you deal with when you are in free, public leagues.

** edit: oh yeah...usually the fools that attempt to get away with this (managing two teams) have e-mails that are REAL similar, giving themselves away. Take a look. **
