i love your team. jus str8 up solid. great starters. but u really need saves unless u intend to punt them. maybe trade one of your stud starters and a bench guy for a decent closer?
Yeah, I'm gonna need to get some closers...I have a feeling I will be able to get a couple of the waiver wire...Biddle is out there for one, MacDougal.
I'm gonna try to trade a couple of my high SB guys for some more power. We'll see. I'm pretty happy with it overall. VLad at pick 16, Prior at 8, I think were both steals. Got a few more later too.
I love baseball...and I love autodrafts too, for the pure fun of having no clue what you are going to get.
EDIT: Sorry guys, realized last night as I was going to bed that I got Vlad at 16 not 20. Still a great deal though. I was too tired to come back down and fix it

As aforementioned you need a couple closers. You also could really benifit from another second baseman. Click on the player notes for Harriston. He hasn't even won the starting nod at 2B and will compete with Brian Roberts in spring training. If he loses, having a back-up as your fantasy starter could be disasterous.
You've got a lot of talent and potential at 3B with Teixeria, Hinske, and Cintron. Both Cintron and Hinske have very good upside, so think about which one you think will deliver and see if you can't package the other with Harristion for a better 2B.
vlad that far down is crazy. what are the people at yahoo on? seriously! nice work with the autodraft though. i think you will have a little bit of power there however - sexon and vlad will probably hit 40+ each and i see teixeira hitting 30. maybe a guy like boone would be good.....depending on who has him, maybe u can get him cheapish.

You know you might have a good point. IF your going to do a public league maye doing an autodraft would be fun. No idea what you will get and you have to work with it from there. Like stepping in as GM of a real team, you get wut you get.
I might do one, I don't know. Just sounds intresting. Up until you said that I despised autopickdrafts. I don't know.
I would trade a couple of your speed guys (or backup 3B) for a power OF and another solid SP. Personally, I would drop Hawkins, Sheets and Garland (and maybe Damon) and pick up as many of the following as I could: Ensberg, Julio, Kolb, MacDougal, Biddle, Chacon.
For more power, you might also take a chance on Burrell or Ellis Burks. For an SP, maybe Meche or Armas, Jr.
Also, you could pick up B. Roberts, Loretta or Jimenez as backups for 2B.
You'll have an excellent chance of winning this league, since it looks like only 3 or 4 other teams could challenge for the top spot. The problem with autodraft leagues is that at least half the guys in the league will take one look at their terrible chances and just give up. The thrill of competition for me is when it is close, a contest of equals, not the Yankees vs. a high school varsity team.

You'd drop Damon? Man, that's crazy. <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>
