What closers is everyone targeting?

Since I never draft closers early and my H2H points league we are required to start 2, I am always looking to get adequate closers in later rounds. I was going to target Saito, but I am a little worried about his calf. So is there any specific closers that the cafe is targeting this year?

Well for me .. I'am targeting Capps, Soria and Putz

Joakim Soria was a big target in my 4 drafts but only managed to land him in one. His stuff is just electric and that 9.78 K/9 is worth drooling over.

If you want Putz you better plan on getting him early because Estrada from baseball tonight says he is going to gt 60 saves

Brandon Lyon
Rafael Soriano
Eric Gagne
Brian Wilson

I tend to take a few of those. I will draft a great lineup and a great 1-2-3 rotation then pick up my closers. I bet 1/2 will lose their job but that still leaves me with 3-4 closers who have great seasons.

Trevor Hoffman seems to be falling late in drafts.

Carlos Marmol might have the inside track to close for Chicago. If he doesn't close, he'll still be a dynamite pitcher for your ball club.

And Brian Wilson - He was lights out last season, SF is bad but when they win, they should win in close games and he should get a decent amount of saves.

I don't typically target specific closers. I typically try to get least valued closers of a given tier. I'm hardly ever the one to start a closer's run and try to get in on the end of them where the best value is.

Soriano and Percival are my targets due to the fact that I never draft closers before round 9. I only got Papelbon a couple of seasons ago by accident .

In the Cool Guys League I got Valverde by accident and did land Soriano and Percival.
