Jeepers Keepers

Hey guys, I am in quite the intense pool which is now undergoing some rule changes. These changes might seem obvious to most of you, but we just figured them out. We are able to keep 5 players from our last year roster at a $20 price. We are then to have an auction draft for the rest of the league and then from there on in we use a contract based pool.

In any case, I am having a helluva time deciding who to keep at this inflated $20 price.

My "for sures" are: Ichiro, Johan Santana, and Hank Blalock

I have to choose 2 more of this bunch to keep. I know who the best players are here, but am trying to keep for the future as well as a make a wise decision based on what position these guys play.

Mark Teixiera
Juan Pierre
Javy Lopez
Mariano Rivera

Tex is only eligible in the OF and at 1B.

These would be my $20 keepers. Although dropping Teixeira for either Santana or Furcal would make sense. Knowing that it's a keeper league, I think Teixeira could easily help you out in future years at that salary.
