Say you have some design in your bg and add a picture into it. Then you want to fade the second picture into your original bg colors how do you do this? I used to know what to do but I forget sorry for the stupid question. :-/

I'm working with Paint Shop Pro 9 if it makes any difference.

im not sure about paint shop but using photoshop you simply lower the opacity or the fill for whatever layer you'd like.
