My H2H points league drafts 2 minor leaguers each year. It helps to get players who can rotate into action within at least a year, so we generally don't draft players several years away from the Bigs. (And all the "close" big names are long gone.) In our second round now and I'm looking at a few options. I'd appreciate hearing what you guys think about these:
JR Towles -- I already have Salty, so he'd just be insurance if Salty craters.
Hiroke Kuroda
Jo-Jo Reyes -- Just read about him and was intrigued.
Kosuke Fukudome -- looks to be average-to-uninspiring as a outfielder
Gio Gonzalez
Johnny Cueto -- Lots of love from the folks at Sickels' site
Matt LaPorta -- good upside, but would he contribute as early as next year?
Lars Anderson -- good upside, but would he contribute as early as next year?
...or any others you might suggest
Thanks, guys!
