Here is my team from one of my 16 team leagues. We go 24 rounds, so it is a deep draft. The scoring cats are ( R,HR,RBI,SB,K,E,OBP-W,L,CG,SV,K,ERA,WHIP). We can start 5 SP per day, and the 9 postion players plus 1 extra OF and 3 Utl. guys.

C Carlos Ruiz
1B Chris Duncan (LF)
2B Ty Wigginton (1B,3B)
SS Troy Tulowitzki
3B Miguel Cabrera
LF Josh Fields (3B)
CF Andruw Jones
RF Brad Hawpe
OF Rick Ankiel (CF,RF)
UTL Adrián Béltre (3B)
UTL Adam LaRoche (1B)
UTL Jack Cust (LF,RF)

SP John Maine
SP Ian Snell
SP Matt Garza
SP Hiroki Kuroda
SP Erik Bedard
SP Aaron Harang
SP Scott Kazmir
SP Chuck James
SP Nate Robertson

RP Heath Bell
RP Joel Zumaya
RP Justin Duchscherer

I know, I have nobody to get saves. Hope I can pick one up or two guys up, but if not, so be it. I will flood the other cats to hopfully made up for it.

Your team looks deadly in HR and not SB, pick up a guy like Jerry Owens for one of your SP, and trade some of your SP to get a closer. You can't just bomb a cat.

Thanks for the input velocity8. I look at like this. If I have homerun hitters, I should, not always, take RBI,R,HR,&OBP cats. And by having this many SP, I should win W,K,CG, & ERA,WHIP with some middle relief help. I forgot to mention this is a H2H league. Sorry about that. So if I can win 6 cats a week, and maybe 9 I'm golden. Even 6 out of 14 with a few flier cats like E & CG, which could go any way.

Jerry Owens isn't starting this year, so don't pick him up.

The way you order your SP is deceiving. I wasn't really impressed until I saw Bedard-Kazmir-Harang in the middle. I think your offense is solid, but not very balanced. Outside of M-Cab and maybe Tulo, you don't have a solid average. There also isn't much speed. I'd try to look to improve there.

Closers I'm not as worried about, because you can always find people on FA throughout the year to get you saves.

Good luck and help me out if you've got time:
