Minors Draft advice please

Clayton Kershaw, LHP, Dodgers


Im targeting four main guys here for the pick: Luke Hochevar, Rick Porcello, Pedro Alverez, Deolis Guerra

best two? cause i have wheel pick. Im heavy on pitching, in Alverez might be a bad pick because I almost sure he will be left with my last pick in the next round.

I like Porcello. He has some time to spend in the minors, which helps you. You have Gio, who will probably come up this year, and Kershaw, whose ETA is likely next year. This will give you a good split in ETAs among pitching prospects if you went with Porcello.

jwhands, these guys count as part off my 15 keepers so im looking for guys that will be highly ratet prospects going into 09 so I can trade them for more established players. That said it looks like Porcelo is that guy, do you have any thoughts on a second though? thanks

thanks, i just took porcello and hochevar with the thought that alverez will be left with my next and final pick. if he is I definitly will target him (although I allready have Howard and Arod a corners he could be a CI of the future for me).
