Just Drafted, wondering your thoughts on my team, what needs to be done, etc.

I'm analyzing the situaution daily, and it seems that Ryan will be ready to go for the start of the season. Accardo is also a FA so i'm playing it by ear.
Also on a side note, Gary Sheffield was dropped in my league today for Gary Matthews... Is he worth using my #6 waiver on? If so who should I drop off my team?
At first glance I thought you might have an issue with BA, but Holliday in the .330 range will make up for Swisher in the .270 range. So nevermind on that issue. I think I might drop a starter. In a Roto league if you have 2 guys with 40+ saves you will get points. But in an H2H league say there are 5 games per player per week, the guy with 3 closers has an advantage over the guy with 2 closers, even if his closers aren't quite as good. I've reworded this three times and I'm not quite sure that it is conveying my point, so if your confused let me know. And I can try again.
No I completely understand what you mean.... to fix this problem should I be trying to move one of my starting pitchers for a closer? And what would you do with the Sheffield situation? Thanks a lot
I'm not a big Sheffield fan in the first place. But I can find three pretty good reasons for you to not pick up Sheffield. 1. Depending on your league rules he may only be elligible at DH. 2. If he is elligible at firstbase you've already got Teixera and Gonzalez. 3. If he is not elligible at firstbase you've already got Thome (who may only be elligible at DH)
That waiver spot would be better used on a closer than him, it just depends on who is out there. An interesting scenario for you would be for Ryan to go on the DL because you get to pick up a free player until he is off the DL. But we can't assume that happens. I think that you should shop around Harang because IMO he is the highest risk/reward pitcher. Webb and Matzusaka are pretty solid. Snell and Wainwright are going to be above average, whereas Harang might be really good or he might just be good, he is easier to trade. If there is somebody willing to take Burnett from you might do that also. But first scavenge the wire!
