Agreed to a certain extent. I think he has solids skills and will likely be a solid player in his career I just think it may take him a couple years to put it all together. He won't top 15 hrs and I'd be a little suprised if he hit above .280. Worth a late round flier in deep leagues but thats about it, IMO.
Agreed but I think James and BP might be smoking something. I see more like 275-12-60-75-15 with some upside, for sure, but also potential to flame out. I definately don't see a BA anywhere near 300 unless he suddenly grows a third eye to see the ball better (terrible BB/K ratios so far) and a lot more plate discipline. I'd rather spend my flyer money on someone more ready for prime time.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

Probably a bit much to depend on from the get go, but I admit I have been drafting him with the hopes that he could turn into a start-worthy OF (thus allowing me to trade to upgrade in some other area). That said, I'll put myself in the category of those who expect something approaching a .275 20-20 year from him My big two speculative OF picks this year are Milledge and Coco Crisp (who can be had later than Milledge for sure). Everyone's down, down, down on Crisp, with good reason I guess. But he often goes undrafted. Two years ago he was taken right around where Holliday was taken (somewhere around pick 110 or so), and in the same year he busted his wrist (while sliding I think). He displayed some spurts of what people were expecting from him last year (i.e., in fantasysportslive.com daily money leagues, many people were buying him for the day during his streaks, over all the other CFs). That said a trade to ChC or CWS (as the rumormill has been indicating) could be a nice start to 2008 for him.
Long story short: Milledge & Crisp = two very low risk, decent-to-high reward OFs
