Good idea from 2003 post....

Looking at some old posts just now and I came across this. Back in 2003 (long time ago right?) someone called pilambp wrote...

In an effort to make this forum more popular, what does everyone think of this idea:

A few people who visit this board and post regularly (Every few days or so) and also follow the minor leagues closely take a player and write updates on their progress. Since the only players expected to make fantasy impacts in the next couple years are in either AAA or AA ball for the most part, each person could take a rising star and keep a column of updates on their performance, week in and week out.

I think the minimum effort could be a weekly update on that player's stats, but more effort could be put in to analyzing their performance. Any Takers?

I'm thinking this would work very well going into 2008, although maybe taking an organization and writing on the progress of their top prospects every week or so might make since. If anyone is interested in either please post here.

I like this idea. I'd be more than willing to post progress notes on the Cardinals prospects.

ok im planning on doing a post or so a week on top yankees prospects. if we get a few more people to do it, it will be realy helpful.
