Is the Closer Thread posted to this Forum ever updated? Who is currently the front runner in Texas, CJ or Every so Often Eddie. Too early to tell most likely but my draft day is coming up. Does anyone have any insight? I am leaning towards CJ as he held the role late last year, did sorta OK, and Eddie is damaged goods. Anyone????
Thanks and leave a link.

For Texas I have
Closer: C.J. Wilson lhp
1st in Line: Eddie Guardado lhp
2nd in Line Joaquin Benoit
I heard that Guardado may start the season as closer if Wilson shows signs of weakness in spring. It was my understanding that Guardado was brought in to mentor to Wilson. With that said its Wilsons job to lose. Keep an eye on his spring stats, as well as this site:

Actually Benoit finished the 2007 season as the Tex closer.

Benoit is the best pitcher in the bullpen so my guess is he ends up the closer eventually.
