So going into last year, everyone had this guy pegged to break out. What happened? 7 homers is weak considering some had him pegged for 30. The rest of the numbers weren't great but weren't abysmal. Is he worth a shot this year in the later rounds? Compare a Teahan vs. some of the other later round options at 1B. Delgado, Sexon, Butler from his own team. What was his main issue last year?

Teahen claims that the shoulder surgery he had after the 06 season killed his power in 07 (per Rotowire). I personally think it was a case of everyone hyping up a guy that isn't very good, but caught a hot streak for a month or so. He's never hit for power, including the minors. I tend to think he was a one month wonder, and not much else. I'd be 10 times more comfortable with Butler this year.

I can see him getting those #'s this year though... O:-)

Standing by my points from last year, he is a 4th or 5th OF or a CI at best. He is not going to be a high AVG guy and he has no track record of power in the minors so no reason to expect some huge power rebound this year. 16, 17 HR is the upside, .270-.280 AVG and a bit less than fulltime playtime with not a lot of speed. In deeper leagues he is an ok late round guy but that is about it.
