Micah Owings dual eligibility

Postby bsblallstr » Tue Mar 04, 2008 3:43 am

If micah owings starts to play games at 1B on days he doesnt pitch every once in a while, does he all of a sudden become a dual eligible as a 1B and as a Pitcher? Just some food for thought
Reyes and guerrero, the two most blessed players in the league, not to mention the most fun to watch

Last I heard, Melvin said he wouldn't be playing 1B (per ESPN, I think). That seems way too risky for a young pitcher, anyway. There is a chance he could pinch hit, though...I wonder if that would be enough?
