There's a lot of buzz in NYC about the Mets trying to trade for Nady.

This actually makes perfect sense. The Mets need a RH batter to platoon in RF with Church and may also need a back-up at 1B (especially given Delgado's recent injury). Nady has also proven to be successful in NY.

PIT has a logjam in the OF. They have Bay in LF, Njer Morgan, Chris Duffy, and Nate McLouth in CF, and Steve Pearce ready to step in in RF. They also have Andrew McCutchen who will likely be ready later this season.

I'd like to see Nady back. The Mets are already in trouble with multiple injuries and could really use a right handed bat. Hopefully, the Pirates like Scoeneweiss(?) and/or Jorge Sosa.

I don't see it happening, any team that is going to trade a twenty homer guy will look to unload a big contract, and Nady is not it. I would love to see Nady be the healthy knight in shining armor but I think we have to keep looking.
