Doesn't it suck that arguably the best US hockey player ever is a Canadian?

Meh, i could careless. The best US curling player might be Swiss, but it wouldn't bother me, since no one cares about that sport either. If Hull played a real sport, like Lacrosse, that might be a different story.

I do believe lacrosse is Canada's national sport, sorry.

Edit: apparently the national sports act of 1994 made hockey the official winter sport and lacrosse the official summer sport. Why they have to change all the things I learned in grade school?

I thought it was our only national sport, too. Interesting.
