Nah I'm keeping it at cafe limits for width and height, there just isn't need for the size to be under 12 kb.

OK I threw up some regulations on my original post. As for the no watermarking and anonymous URL...I don't want this to be a popularity contest. It wouldn't be fair if votes were swayed because people were voting for who made the sig and not the sig itself.

I really want to get some ideas going for a THEME here. I don't want everyone to submit completely random sigs. I just threw out the idea of opening day pitchers to get something started. If no one has any objections or we don't get any discussion on a theme that's what we'll go with.

I'm going to set a tentative deadline for submissions for Sunday 3/30 at 12 midnight EST. This should give everyone ample time to put together a great, sweet, awesome sig.

Once I receive all sigs I'll post a voting thread (hopefully that Monday 3/31) in the Contests & Showing Off forum. Simple vote, everyone who wishes to vote will vote for which sig they think is the most artistically appealing. I'll keep the voting open for a week, maybe a week and a half depending on the voting turnout. The sig with the most votes wins.

Nice idea Snakes. It will definitely make the player selection a little narrower which is good, although I'm sure everyone will do Johan. Any other thoughts or ideas?

if we do a theme i think we should make sure to sign up for a player so there arent doubles, i think itd be pretty lame to have like 4 guys end up doing the same player
