Frankly, I was ecstatic about where I picked him in up in my draft... (back end of the sixth round in a 10 team league).

I wasn't all that thrilled about trading him away, but I couldn't resist the deal that was offered (basically Carl Crawford for Pena, Gregg, and McGowan.

I'll gladly take Crawford over Pena any day, but I do think Pena is going to have a good season this year.

He's just in a funk right now. He'll break out of it soon. He had a pretty bad series against the Jays, but looked a little better in tonight's game, just missing a HR in one of his ABs.

Yea. They good news is that he went back up the middle on a couple hits, even if they were outs. When he struggles it is because he is trying to pull the ball. To be effective he needs to go up the middle like he did last season. I think you will see him start to break out soon

yea i just traded him straight up for Zimmerman in a keeper league... pretty pumped about that.. both off to slow starts but Zim is way younger with huge upside... plus now i can move braun to my OF slot and make my lineup way stronger... u guys think that was a good deal? cuz i def think so
