From where he is getting drafted, I would never ever take him. One good season in my mind is a career year and usually doesn't translate to a stud 1B IMO.

If thats the case why is Ryan Braun being taken mid 2nd round?
While I think last year's numbers won't be repeated. I believe he can still get you 35ish HR's and a .275 avg. He's got solid protection in Tampa. Plus he doesn't have an ago so I'm not worried about him taking it easy now, etc...
Well I guess regardless Im stuck.Its just burns me because I could have taken Lance Berkman instead of him. I just shot my mouth off and looked after I made my pick.
I am obliged to be a career-long Carlos Pena fan after he single-handedly led me to my fantasy league title last year. While my studs like Reyes and Morneau slumped down the stretch, it was Pena who held together my team.
Granted, I doubt he will repeat last year. But landing a top 10 first-baseman in the 5th round is nothing to kick yourself about. Pena won't make you regret that pick.
