So whats the latest feeling on Patterson. Will he land a starting OF spot? I am getting to the later rounds in my slow draft and could use a speed guy...the last real speed guy went with Bourn in the 16th rd. Its a weekly transaction league....so I wouldnt want him if he is going to rotate in and out of the lineup.
Any news on this front? I'm one of the Dusty-bashers and while I realize C-Pat isn't a dominant hitter, he can be a good late-round source of steals with a little bit of pop and an average that won't destroy your team.
I haven't seen any updates on if he's going to be the everyday guy once the season starts...

Considering he's got 3 AB's so far in camp, it'll be at least a few more weeks before we'll know whether Corey will start.
I wouldn't put too much money on Patterson getting too much playing time. Probably not a real valuable guy to have, but seeing how you took him last, you may just want to let the situation with the Reds play itself out completely before making a decision. I just don't see him doing much for you, or the Reds.

I predict Tony Womack at #1 on the depth chart, then Neifi Perez, then C-pat, then Freel, with Bruce, Votto, and Adam Dunn back playing for the Dayton Dragons.

Bruce will start off in AAA so it'll be c-pat, freel, hopper.
I agree! The Reds have been known for taking on players and resparking them. Ron Gant , Greg Vaughan, now C-pat . Will he be great no but a late rd pick that may turn into a surprise yes. I bash Baker as well.
