Do I Still Need More Pitching?

Postby sox 06 » Sat Mar 01, 2008 4:34 pm

Where else can I improve this team? Should I add some more pitching or does my offense need some kind of boost?

I think you should stay put for now. You have another month to work with, so wait and see how ST pans out. I like your team for now ;-D

Yeah I think my team is pretty close to what its going to be on Opening Day, but I think I could upgrade my pitching a bit. I don't trust Sheets to stay healthy and Arroyo, at times, was horrid last year. Would packaging maybe Sheffield/Sheets for a better SP make any sense?

Yes. You have plenty of power even without Sheff. Try for King Felix, Young, or Oswalt. If they buy into this trade, that would be great for you.

You need to trade 1 of your OF or Hafner for an arm, get Victorino and his SB in your lineup.

I would keep Sheets and do a 1 for 1 trade, then drop Arroyo for another HLD guy.
