Howdy. I'm considering joining a live auction league--primarily for the auction fun of it--but have noticed that the league does not allow trades during the season, just add/drops.

Thoughts on no-trade leagues and if they are fun/interesting/worthwhile? I've always been an active trader so I'm a bit wary. gracias.

It sounds like a waste of time. If you are prohibited from improving your roster by trade, then that takes a major element of the competition/strategy out of the game.

I played in a league once where there were virtually no trades, not because of rules but just because most of the owners were brain-dead/unimaginative, and that sucked too. There's only so many ways you can improve your team picking up guys from waivers.

I believe the entire NFBC doesn't allow trading.

I have been in leagues that may as well had a rule against trades. Because no one was willing to make trades and if they did, it would be vetoed. NO FUN. Don't do it.

I agree with all the above. What I enjoy most about Fantasy Baseball other then the winning part ;-D

are the draft and trades. Trades are the spice of life when it comes to fantasy baseball especially in keeper leagues.
