KFFL supplied the Yahoo rankings the last couple of years, but since KFFL sells their rankings now as part of a package I doubt they wanted to make it available for free on Yahoo.
It appears that Yahoo's rankings are back to the way they were pre-KFFL. It looks like they're based purely on past performance, with more weight being given to last season, which would explain why players that missed any significant amount of time last year (RJ, Vlad, Jeter, etc) are ranked ridiculously low.
Anyone that is seriously using the Yahoo rankings as their cheat sheets should be hit on the head with a tack hammer because they are a retard.
On the other hand I love them! It makes people actually attempt to prerank other than just sitting on their arse and letting the default rankings do the work.
C'mon, guys. The Yahoo rankings aren't intended to be projections for 2004. It's historical - for now including 2003 stats, and will include 2004 stats after they happen. So if you're ranking the players for expected 2004 performance, go somewhere else or create your own!

This is true. I actually like it, as it's a quick way to get a sense of who was worth what over the course of the 2003 season. And it's easy to exploit.
