I know I have bad catching, and poor outfield...but what do I have that I can afford to deal away, and what stats am I hurting in the most. Thanks, I appreciate it, and I will try to give input, leave a link.

To be honest I think you need to look at pitching before the catcher spot. It would make a much bigger difference adding another solid starter than upgrading AJ to someone like, say McCann or a 2nd tier guy. I mean, Peavy and Webb are studs, no doubt. But after that you have Joba, who looked awesome last year but has never started a MLB game, and Perez who is a scary adventure every time he steps on the rubber. If it were me, I'd deal Beltre and Weeks for pitching, pencil in Gordon at 3B then hope his stats start to match his talent. Just a thought.

Definitely need another starter as it looks like Joba will be starting the year in the pen and then moving into the rotation maybe at the end of the year. I wouldn't worry about upgrading catcher spot but Outfield might be bothersome because it is fairly unproven though it might turn out better than expected, but starting pitching should be your primary concern.

I agree with the pitcher statement. you need a solid #3 SP. as far as catchers go, you could benefit with one of the younger options - I'm sure Soto and Towles are gone - but Ruiz or Clement (if he ends up as a DH). I'd also be searching for outfield help, though I think Hermida will be starting for you after a few weeks.

Do you know the folks in your league? See if there's anyone who is interested in Joba and is willing to take the same chance you have --- I personally agree with the previous sentiments on him --- he's never started, and It's difficult to trust that, as good as he's supposed to be. See if you can trade away Joba and Weeks for whatever you feel is your most glaring weakness. Good luck!

Yea, you don't want to sacrifice a lot just to upgrade catcher position. It's not that important. Outfield is a little dubious, but see how it goes in the season.
Good luck!
