This, plus Braun being #9 3B (behind Lowell) is why i suggested the median statistic.
I think it has to do with CD's perception that Braun will regress some based off what I read in all the Braun related posts. Could be true, Braun should regress at least to the point where his numbers won't match a full prorated 2007 pace, but he's definitely worthy of a top 5 3B ranking.

Gives me a chuckle that he thinks Braun will regress exponentially more than Lowell.

i asked him the same thing, thinking he just simply forgot about them, but he was sure of it.
this is just supposed to be used as a reference, not as a final say in rankings...in past years ill go through a position or two and find i guy who's point of view i tend to agree with and take his for worth than some others that think different. some people lean toward youth (me) and some will take an aging veteran that can still produce.
Would any of your ranks besides Pujols change much now compared to 3 weeks ago, such as the news of Kaz getting an MRI on his elbow and Salty going to Triple A if he doesn't win the starting catcher job?

Like probably anyone else, my rankings likely change slightly week to week depending on the situations like you just mentioned. But that's why you get 10 guys together instead of taking the rankings of just one.
I'd most likely change a few things on my rankings, I.E. Myers, Hill, Lowell, Salty. But I did my rankings nearly a month ago now and hadn't seen a lot of reports on these guys

i dont understand what would have changed with rich hill and lowell. lowell was firmly entrenched with the sox when you submitted your rankings, and myers was already in the rotation and healthy. leaving out myers and hill is CRAZY to me...i could see the shields argument simply because he can regress to the other side of 4.00 very easily given that division.
