I play in a ten team yahoo league and have the first pick. After A-Rod, I'm looking to pick up another power hitter in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. These are the guys I think will be available. How would you rate these guys?

Carlos Beltran (age, slumps, injuries?)
Carlos Lee
Vladamir Guerrero (age, injuries)

1.Carlos Lee- model of consistency, great contributor in 4 cats and 10+ stolen bases is a nice addition
2.Carlos Beltran- Injury has been an issue for him, but he has 40-20 potential and usually ends up with the numbers even though he is a streaky hiter
3.Vlad Guerrero- getting older and HR numbers arent what they used to be, but he still drives in a lot of runners and hits for a very high average
4.Ichiro- only contributes in 3 categories and he is going to be 34 this season

Vlad
Lee
Beltran
Ichiro

I'm looking for a bounceback from Vladdy this year. Lee is solid and is pretty mure a sure thing 30HR 100RBI. Not so high on Beltran cause of the injury risk. Ichiro is just overrated.

Lee
Beltran
Vlad

those 3 are really very close, you could probably put them in any order, especially if you count K's.

then

wait

wait

Ichiro

he is in a class below those 3

I'll say:

Vlad
Beltran
C. Lee
Ichiro

Vlad has been unlucky with injuries the last couple of years and still posted a very solid line. High average, good deal of RBI's, and I think he bounces back to 30-35 HR. Surely, he's still at an age that won't slow down his power stroke.

Beltran could easily top the list with his 5-cat potential, but year to year, he's been relatively hit-or-miss as far as his consistency goes, as the health of his legs have been pivotal to his success or underwhelming numbers. His home/away splits are pretty bipolar, but he's hitting in a lineup with plenty of support. Appears that he'll hit cleanup and there could be a marginal spike in RBI.

Lee is as solid an offensive force as Vlad whereas Ichiro's value tends to tie into his SB and BA.

what round in a 10 team league do you need to draft a OF by? I'm leaning towards filling out my infield first. Thoughts?

They're all really, really close IMO. Just depends on what you need.
