Yes i dont even care he signed with my favirote team rival as long as the evil empire doesnt touch i just dont care anymore my hatered for the yankees is more than ever now. I now root for any team to beat the yankees i dont care who it is as long as they lose im happy.

See this is why I complain about Houston fans.....YOU'RE NOT REAL FANS!! As Cubs fans we just care about beating the Cardinals, we know we're gonna beat Houston.

Well Maddux definitely helps, but the Cubbies fell for Bora$'$ tricks and gave him another yeat. 3 years, 24 mill is better than two at that price, but come the third year, he's going to be horrid. You heard it here. ;-D

I gotta disagree Transmo....although he won't be as good of a pitcher in 3 years....He still will have alot of knowledge he can pass on to the staff....that in itself could warrent the investment... :-)

Transmo is right. Maddux will have nothing left by the third year. Even Steinbrenner never paid a pitching coach
$8 million ;-)
