Well Maddux definitely helps, but the Cubbies fell for Bora$'$ tricks and gave him another yeat. 3 years, 24 mill is better than two at that price, but come the third year, he's going to be horrid. You heard it here.

I gotta disagree Transmo....although he won't be as good of a pitcher in 3 years....He still will have alot of knowledge he can pass on to the staff....that in itself could warrent the investment...

Transmo is right. Maddux will have nothing left by the third year. Even Steinbrenner never paid a pitching coach
