He fell to the fifth in my league, and while I'm not in love with him, if he repeats the numbers from last year he's a suped up Carl Crawford. If he doesn't, its still pretty good to have a guy who hits 20 hr, steals 35-50, and bats fourth (lots of RBI chances). From talking to people I respect, everyone expects him to have a much worse year, so i don't think you will get any real value for him. i think the fact that he increased his walk rate from the previous year is a good sign, and he might have finally realized his potential. I bet he didn't even think he would steal 50 until it happened, so he might try again. Also, it looks like he only has 3 seasons of > 500 ABs, so I don't know if anyone knows what he's really capable of now that he's been seeing a lot of major league pitching on a regular basis.
Bottom line, he's not worth a third, but he's worth the risk if he falls to 5th or lower.
