Romantic Movies...help

Postby AEMRICH » Tue Feb 26, 2008 5:24 pm

Hey guys, i'm planning a romantic evening this Friday for my girlfriend. Yesterday i rented a movie she has been wanting to see called No Reservations, but i was just talking with her and it turns out that surprise will be no good because she rented the movie today to watch with her mother. What are some other romantic movies old or new that would be good options. Right now i'm thinking of Message in a Bottle and Hope Floats. Any other ideas
College Tuition: $12,000

hope floats is a BOMB....women go ga-ga over nicolas sparks' books so "message in a bottle" might be a good choice as is "the notebook" (another nicolas sparks' novel) but i am old school so go for "casablanca" ...although the movie suffered as it translated from book to silver screen, "cold mountain" is pretty good

Just my opinion. And it shouldn't matter if she's seen it before. What cool chick doesn't get hot when Reginald Val Johnson blows away a german terrorist?

Yeah, Carl Winslow usually does the trick.

My ex-fiance loved How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. See if you can get a bootleg copy of P.S. I Love You, which my girlfriend loooved. The Notebook is the easiest choice, possible; but you can't go wrong with it.

I'll admit that I even like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, it's not bad for a chick flick.
