Pretty cool, but its really the same thing as calculating dollar values, unless I'm missing something.

it's similar to projecting dollars - though I'm not sure most dollar projections estimate value at each stat level as well.
i think everyone's got their own secret formula for projecting player values - whether they be dollars or in this case point shares. i think the underlying methodology behind ours is a step ahead of most as we factor in position scarcity and the value of each stat to a team's spot in the standings.
these kind of things are forever a work in progress and great opportunities to eat some humble pie...open to feedback...
