I just joined a league where the scoring system is extremely unbalanced. It's a head to head points based league.

I just looked at the stats from last year(the league is on ESPN.com). Batters scored DOUBLE of what pitchers were scoring from last year points wise.

I was wondering if it's smart to not draft a single pitcher until I have every single starting batter position. Considering that the pitchers are extremely unerpowered, I think it would be a good idea. Im just checking if Im missing something or not.

You have to look at what batters score in relation to other batters and what pitchers score in relation to other pitchers. Points leagues are all about VORP. If a replacement hitter earns 500 points, A-Rod earns 800, a replacement pitcher earns 50 and Santana earns 400 then you are going to do better picking pitchers even though hitters earn twice as much.
