Where does JR Towles belong on a rankings list for catchers?

Saw the article, but did not see the 500 AB part. Maybe the newspaper said more? I see Asmus as a mentor/tudor, but he will still get his time.

Sorry, I gave bad info. The 500 ABs quote was from the article right next to that article- Cameron Maybin from FLA says he plans on getting to 500 ABs this season. My recollection was jumbled- sorry.

Towles is having a fine spring thus far..Snaged him today off the Free Agent list and move Victor Matrinez to 1st and Prince to DH ..Towles may surprise many this year. I may be mistaken thinking initally he was a Part time guy when he infact may be the full time 400-500 AB guy many believe..10 HR's, 60 RBI, 70 Runs, 12 SB's, .280 Ave ? Could he do it, or do more?
