I'm slowly making my way through fantasy baseball research. I have noticed that there are a lot of positive comments regarding Towles this season. I'm wondering how high should I have him on my list for catchers? I'm in a 10 team 5x5 H2H league. Should I even consider him?

I have him 8th so to me he deserves consideration. He has a much higher upside than the type of catcher you would likely have to take towards the end of the draft even in a one catcher 10 team league. Best thing about him in a league like yours is that if he flames out you can easily still find the same caliber of catcher you passed up drafting on waivers.

I personally like him more than Geovany "I had one good year in the minors and it was my 3rd time in AAA" Soto. Towles throws in a few SB which is always a nice way to mitigate risks elsewhere.

Are you not planning to get them out of personal preference or you just don't think they'll be there for you in the late 2nd?
I don't see them making it to pick 2.12 in a dynasty
I guess this was my question... I think these guys may go a little earlier than they should given that they can be used right away. I don't think many have Soto or Towles in their top 25 prospect lists.
No they are not in my top 25 of specs total, but have value because they will play this year
