Yahoo Player Rankings

I think Yahoo has something against the Padres...

B. Giles ranked 72
Klesko ranked 247
Nevin ranked 428
Hoffman ranked 476

and they don't think highly of Arizona's 1 and 2 starters either...

RJ ranked 122
Webb ranked 126

wait I see a trend here...

Shawn Green ranked 91
K. Brown ranked 71
Schilling ranked 39

no respect for the NL West and former NL West Aces...just as well...more for ME!

why doesnt anyone understand??? those rankings are based on last years stats! giles had an off year, thats why he's 72. nevin missed alot of the season, thats why hes 428. RJ had an off year, hence 122. these arent based on how good yahoo thinks they are, or how good they think they will do this season!

my understanding is that the O-Rank is their projected rank this year...and their Rank is there rank based on last years stats...and if you're right, why are Browny and Webb ranked so low...actually, I know you're wrong, but I was trying to be nice...

I agree...any projection must take into account previous years stats...I'm just saying that some of the rankings are clearly off...which can be good if you're drafting against ignorant people...

Reyes is in the 400's, he'll probably do a little better then that.

Nick Johnson isn't a 400 man either.

Cabrera is also a 400 a little below nevin, which should make it a little more likely for him to go unnoticed a bit longer.
