2008 Baseball Games

I bought the Show for my PS2 two weeks ago....I have a PS3 but am currently in Afghanistan and wasnt dragging it out here. I also haven't bought a baseball game since MVP '05....EA really screwed up losing that license.

Anyway, its a pretty different game, but as close to MVP as anything Ive played since. There are a few bugs that need to get worked out....hopefully by next year's version we'll have another great baseball video game.

Frustrating crap:
Base running
Too may wild pitches
Outfield fielding(balls going right through guys), infield is not bad
Commentary/Music (I just mute it and put music on anyways)

Good crap:
Batting, power is a little difficult, but realistic
Pitching meter
Dynasty/Road to the Show mode
Graphics (for PS2)

Its good enough to get me really pissed off and really excited at the same time.

Am I the only one excited for MLB Power Pros 2 that comes out at the end of the month? I loved the first one...

I have yet to get a baseball game for my 360 but today i think im going to buy 2k8. Downloaded the demo and liked it

I prefer the show baseball games. they have alot of good game modes, and im overall really happy with about everything that game has to offer. i don't really like the 2k games. can't remember why...but everytime i rent one i play it once and never play it again

i hate the 2k games its either a HR or a K. MVP 2005 for Xbox is the best baseball game ever made none of the new ones are even close

I seriously bought MVP 2005 for playstation for 2.99 and have played my roomates in it more than any other game, then comes fifa 06 another great. I wish mvp was back
