If it weren't for some obvious names at the top of the list, they should give the caveat: Our fantasy fifty (in no particular order)

Yes. Worst ever. No other rankings I've ever seen even come close. No wonder the writer didn't put his name anywhere on the page

I love their explanation for ranking Jeff Francis so highly though. It's pretty much
he like had lotz of wins and like alot of strikowtz, so hes realllllly good
which is a crock of crap

I actually can't understand that. 165 isn't that many Ks. John Maine had 2 less wins and 15 more Ks. What gives?

They even screwed up the 1st one on the list.
ARod: Set career highs in HR, RBI and runs w/ .314 avg, 24 SB
A career high in HR? I guess 54 is more than the 57 he hit in 2002

I can't think of any other way this list could be the way it is!! Unless who ever wrote it left their laptop out, and their kids were playing with it!!

I originally thought that the rankings must have been based on last season but now I don't think so. First of all Ichiro had a definite top 50 year last year (arguably top 25) and he's not even there. Pena should be on the list as should somebody like Markakis. If it was based on last year than guys like Rowand and Lowell who had fluke years should also be there but they aren't. As should a closer or Catcher which it baffles me why there isn't one.
