PRE RANKINGS

Postby trey3kt » Fri Feb 22, 2008 7:13 pm

Hey guys, I could use some help here. I am in a 12 team head to head 6 x 5 league, with the extra category being OBP. I am using Yahoos default rankings but i want to move up players with a high OBP, and move down players with a low OBP. seeing that Yahoos rankins do not factor in OBP> I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me how many spots i should move people up and down based on their OBP. I was thinking 5 maybe. Is this too much, too little? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i'm not gonna list you any names, but your league seems to be more offensively heavy. With this in mind you should DEFINITELY prioritize drafting hitters over pitchers, especially big sluggers like Ortiz, Pujols, D-Wright, Magglio,Vlad, M-Cabs, Teix, etc....All I can say is don't be the guy who drafts Santana or Peavy in the first three rounds.

i agree with the other guy, big time hitters are worth more and you can and will always find pitching in the later rounds. its alot easier to uncover a McGowan type pitcher then it is a Braun type off the WW/FA list imo.
